Previous host, now surfing across Europe for 1 year with my fiancé, Ollie (28).

Meeting new people and being in the company of others has always made me feel more energetic. I thoroughly enjoyed taking couch surfers on sight tours around my city and joining into the activities that surfers were up to.

I love walking around cities aimlessly, looking at nature and architecture and finding hidden cafes or boutique stores. On a cold day, I enjoy baking and drinking tea like a grandma. Ollie (being from Tasmania) is usually pretty good at finding reasons to get outside on a winters day and these tend to be some of the highlights of our travels e.g. riding through the rain in Vietnam to see ominous mountain views.

We both enjoy eating all kinds of food and drinking all kinds of booze. We make an effort to live like the locals as much as possible on our travels across Europe to get the authentic experience.

Ollie and I are traveling Europe and hope to live in Canada in the near future. We would love to meet friendly people along the way who have insight into what it's like to live like a local. We left the comfort of our jobs in Australia and sold everything we own apart from our instruments.
