Overview
About Me
I am currently in Geneva doing an internship. It's my first time in Europe and I'm trying my best to see as much of the continent (and crossing off some dream destinations) while I'm here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Coming from a third-wrold country on an unpaid internship is a challenge so I'm trying my best to look for the most pocket-friendly options while touring around.
Interests
- scuba diving

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are by Haruki Murakami, David Levithan, and Milan Kundera. I'm a big fan of foreign movies (movies I would need to watch with subtitles) because it's an entertaining way of getting to know a culture. I like different kinds of music. My favorite musician is John Mayer, and artists are BTS, Norah Jones, Flume, and Dua Lipa.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got to go on a free trip to the North of Japan (Hachinohe City) on a student exchange sponsored by the Japanese government. I got to live with a foster family, eat delicious mackerel, and explore the Japanese country side for one week last February 2016.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an active volunteer of a conservation NGO in the Philippines (Save Philippine Seas: https://www.savephilippineseas.org/) and have been part of their programs teaching and speaking on marine conservation. I'm also well-versed on peace education, non-violence, and humanitarian affairs as these are the fields related to my internship and work.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of fun and sustainable tourist things to do, delicious food to eat in my home country, the Philippines. :)
