About Me

picturing myself in a short way...well, I am absolutley fond of discovering new places and things. Which is one thing why I would describe myself as a rather interested and attentive personality, empathetic and very open-minded. I like strange jokes and deadpan humor, art, enjoying time with friends, being creative (I LOVE all sorts of crafts!!sewing, painting, handycraft, knitting,..), dancing salsa, dancing in general, listening and making music. i love travelling and learning foreign languages, meeting new people and sharing ideas and thoughts. sometimes you'll find me being hectic and overhasty, funny and loud. othertimes you'll find me rather calm and reflective, maybe even dreamy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed only a few couches since now but am planing on pursuing this great opportunity!!

I've met quite a lot of great people through CS by surfing but also through meeting up for some drinks. During my stay in Seville, Spain I also had the pleasure to join some awesome CS-BBQ-parties. Also in Lyon I attend a couple of cool CS meetings.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's very simple: I like whatever sounds good..
latin rhythms, reggae, folk, french chanson and bossa nova. some times I like getting crazy on electronic beats like tech-house too. old music and new music, happy and melancholic. I'm also really really fond of "Putumayo", a series of albums with music from all different cultures/ countries, apart of the main-stream-stuff.

I enjoy reading a lot. Mostly I like novels that deal with simple life, just as we know it. Thought-provocing novels, kafkaesque stories and the kinds that catapult you into unknown lifestyles and spots of the world.
