About Me

CURRENT MISSION

DIY till I die; bikes, beer, sailing, farming, camping, writing...

ABOUT ME

I guess I was punk once. Now I'm attempting to be a Renaissance man.

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others as you would have done to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a host a few times to CS'ers now and have always enjoyed exercising hospitality to others through cooking, drinking, and seeing the sights. Now I'm official and you are welcome in my home too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been a guest as an official CS person, but I have traveled in the spirit of Couch Surfing quite a few times. It's the best way to experience culture in destinations. Who wants to be a tourist when you can be a couch surfer?

Interests

All forms of Cycling: Mountain bikes, Observed Trials, Downhill, Alley Cats,.. etc. Classic Motorbikes too.

All forms of Beer: Brewing, tastings, seasonal, games (beer pong anyone?)

All forms of music: pretty much anything but Pop-country or Pop-hip hop/r&b

Any and all future solutions in sustainability and DIY.

Independent films, documentaries, historical reenactment films, comic book films, Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, Akira Kurosawa,...

Music: Blues, Dub step, Drums and Bass, Jazz, Punk, Experimental, Industrial, Clasical, and some Rockabilly now and then.
Ninja Tunes, Warp, Bleep, Nothing, Verve, Blue Note...

Books,.. wow, how many lines do I get? You'll see if you visit; the shelves are too varied to list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Define Amazing? I've seen a few parts of the world, some natural wonders, and met many profound characters in my travels. That's pretty amazing, no?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a bike mechanic with expert class riding skills who teaches children how to ride and work on bikes.

I'm a brewer of Beer and Ale. I am a self proclaimed beer snob.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
