CURRENT MISSION

To meet everyone in the world. And I'm not doing too badly, so far. More immediately, my mission is to get from my current location in Eastern China back to my home in England without a) Getting shot c) Going bankrupt or c) Boarding a plane.)

ABOUT ME

My friends are divided as to whether I'm slightly eccentric, or completely nuts. I enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people, and am open to pretty much anything, within reason. I pride myself on being able to get on with anybody, and on always being able to get up and do whatever I was planning on doing, no matter how drunk I was the previous night. I also dance like a granddad at a wedding.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I live in a tiny student flat in Ningbo, China, where I'm studying, so I can't put people up, but I plan to in the future. I'm interested in surfing my way back from China to England over the summer, and hope to meet many new people on the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the site, and haven't been 'couchsurfing' before, but I have woken up, many times, on random people's sofas, often with no recollection of how I got there , and on a Saturday or Sunday morning, my house is usually full of people I've never met before.

Currently trying to read 'Crime and Punishment'. I enjoy Louis de Berniers and Sebastian Faulks' work. I enjoy all sorts of cinema, and my music taste is a bit old-hat- I like '70s prog rock, among other things.
