Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Oh, gosh. I drove my car to Montreal 3 times and slept on strangers' couches/floors. I crashed a big party for bearded guys in Nashville and stayed with a nice family there. I've followed bands on tour more times than I can count; reversing the trend, I've stayed in musicians' homes as a traveling fan. I met one of my best friends by being a repeat overnight visitor to her basement. I've got a lot of stories but it only recently occurred to me that couch surfing is actually "a thing" and not just a means to an end.
