Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Saw a sculpture in San Francisco -- near Chinatown, giant cement blocks you can climb onto, over a waterpool, out of which lunge square concrete tubes like wild metal octopus arms shooting water from their shafts, and you can walk a stone path through the man-made cascade -- and a few months afterwards found a front yard in Montreal that looked like an art installation, with piles of scrap wood and metal, piles of rocks and dirt, and after taking pictures of it was approached by an old man with a long white beard. It turned out it was, among other things, the creator of the San Francisco sculpture-fountain, Armand Vaillancourt. Also turns out his wife is "Suzanne" in the Leonard Cohen song.
