CURRENT MISSION

Having spent 38 years teaching children with special needs I am hoping to convert some of my mentally virtual travel excursions into actual travel adventures. Until that actually occurs I would like to host others who have been infected with wander lust and then acted.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy conversing and hearing about the life experiences of other travelers. Everyone has a story
I have a sarcastic wit and I hope you enjoy 'playing' as I have never fully matured.
I enjoy going to the theater and seeing a pleasing musical, comedy or drama.
I read magazines and newspapers but novels get the best of me. I consider myself moderately informed about local, national and world events. I am liberal in thought and political persuasion. Everyone is entitled to their opinions; I won't try to convert you to my way of thinking and I hope you won't attempt to make me think and believe just like you. However, I am very eager for you to share your thoughts and beliefs with me.
I love my two very tallented children, my wife, children, animals and old folks. At 62 I believe I may qualify for membership in the latter category.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a novice at this Couch Surfing and have thus far occupied my Couch Surfing time filling out forms. I am looking forward to traveling someday and having curious explorers stay with my wife and I.
My wife indicates that I am beginning to mature, however, I don't necessarily view that as an asset. I suppose a modicum of being a 'grown up' is necessary but an excess of it would not be an admirable quality.

I rented a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in Australia and rode around Uluru (Ayers Rock).

I live in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home to hundreds of Old Order Amish, Mennonites and Brethren or a total of about 80 different religions and sects. That is a rather large figure for a county of 530,000 persons.
