ABOUT ME

My name is Dave, and I reside in the beautiful state of Minnesota. I’m currently employed as a college recruiter, but I look forward to the day when I can break free of the 9 to 5 rat race and shoot adventure films. For the time being, I’m trying to gain as much experience as possible documenting my own adventures. It’s for this reason that I’m always on the go. While I typically camp or stay in hotels, a friend suggested I look into Couchsurfing and Airbnb. I haven’t utilized those networks much myself, but I’ve had wonderful experiences hosting people at my home. I'm currently preparing for a 15 day Coast-to-Coast bike ride across the Continental United States. I'm calling it the Dream Big Tour. The ultimate goal of this tour is to establish the Dream Big Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to future students of M State Fergus Falls who dream big but lack the financial means to reach those dreams. My hope is that through fulfilling one of my dreams I'll be able to help others fulfill theirs ! I'm going to document my adventure in my blog: dreambigtour.net

I hosted my first couch surfers a while back. They were actually in the middle of a coast-to-coast bike tour, which is a dream of mine.
