CURRENT MISSION
Finding a way for days to be longer.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 29-year-old girl in a love-hate relationship with this beautiful city I live in. I came to Kraków 10 years ago to study, greatly enjoyed the crazy student years and decided to stay. Now I work quite a boring office job dealing with anti-money laundering, I guess the adult life got me!
I live with my boyfriend, Michał, and our two rescue cats in the north-western part of town. Cats are total opposites - one black, one white; one fat, one thin; one lazy, one hyperactive - but they are the best buddies.
Travelling is a big part of my life and I love it. I used to hitch-hike with a tent a lot in the past, now there is always a flight booked and a plan in place, but it's still exciting.
I love sports, and I surprisingly found out about it as an adult. As a kid I was a total nerd, a bookworm in big glasses and you could have scared me off with the word "sport" itself. Now, I couldn't imagine life without my bike, my inline skates, my skateboard and too far from a swimming pool. I am still a bookworm, though, always carrying a book or my Kindle around.
Apart from that I enjoy all the good stuff, like music festivals, cooking with my friends, speaking foreign languages, long pointless walks, yoga, taking bad quality photos and growing a small vegetable garden in my balcony.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing a lot, hosting from time to time, always wanting to go to CS meetings but never doing so ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I learned about this project in the summer of 2008 and instantly loved the idea. So when a year later I was planning my first hitch-hiking trip through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia I signed in and started to learn how it worked in practice. And it worked great - I was hosted by wonderful people along my way, all of whom showed me great hospitality, friendliness and trust. Since then I had a chance to surf couches in several countries in Europe and in Morocco. I was also happy to host some good souls here in Kraków.
From 2014, I had a little break from couchsurfing, but the spirit never dies! Now I'd love to get back in the project and meet new wonderful people.

Surviving Guča Festival. I've discovered a few fun things, like: that I do speak Serbian, that after a sleepless and drunken night I am able to hitch-hike for 14 hours without stopping, and that there is a point at which you just can't take any more trumpets and rakija.
