Hello, I am Bilge. I am a fresh graduate industrial engineer. At the same time, I am still student because I am doing a double major in Management Information Systems. I really like to meet new people and talk with them about their culture.
I was brought up thinking that I can feel the feeling of being free best by traveling. I took the first step toward realizing this ideal in my first year of university and went on a one-month European trip with my cousin during my summer vacation. I traveled to 13 countries on my first trip. Then I have participated Erasmus Student Program in Coimbra, Portugal. I lived there for 6 months. I also did a traineeship in Berlin for 3 months. These are the best experience that I gained in my student life. Thanks to these, I had the opportunity to see new countries and cities. I made new and lasting friendships. I went to visit them. I had many more enjoyable moments like these. The place of Erasmus program in my life has always been special for me. I had the opportunity to participate not only in study and internship mobility but also in short-term youth exchange projects. I also participated in 6 different Erasmus youth exchange projects, two of which I was the team leader. As you can see, I am someone who likes to embark on new adventures.
Plus I'd love to move to Spain.
My motto is solo ride until I die..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While during my trips I met a lot of different people from different countries and most of them were really helpful to me. But sometimes may not go as well as it seems, we could also encounter strange people. I think Couchsurfing is a platform that brings the right people to each other.
I learned a lot from these good people I met on my trips. If there is a favor I can do for the right people on this platform who are in search, I am on Couchsurfing to make it happen. Now is the time to repay the favors done to me.
