About Me

I was born in Bulgaria and left with my family when I was 2 years old. Lived in Africa for 4 years and adopted a bit of an accent before coming back for grade 1 in Bulgaria. Lost that accent now though but it rests in memories and our home videos from where my parents thought it was funny how we sang baba black sheep on the truck.

In a nutshell I'm your typical travel loving millennial trying to make it big in life through photography and video. Have a love and hate relationship with social media. But mostly love. I just hated it when my instagram never let me stick GIFs on my stories before removing all gifs due to that racial gif incident. Now i'll have to go through life not knowing the joys of sticking a Brittney Spears moving head to my cringe selfie with my bunny.

Yes I have a bunny. He's cute and slowly getting old with specks of white hairs.

I recently found out about this condition: Dromomania. I have it. It's not deadly, physically. It just affects my bank account. It's a constant urge to wander. (Bet a millennial came up with this word)

I also spend a lot of my time figuring out the best ways to find awesome travel deals. I consider myself 80% pro in this. Especially in Europe. God bless Ryanair.

I also crave smoothie bowls and avocados almost everyday. Also never made a winesicle but thats on my to-do list. Heard it from a show. You freeze wine in the form of a Popsicle and ta-da.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have many friends on couchsurfing and have made amazing new friendships from friends introducing me to couchsurfers so I wanted to try it for myself.

A family friend has used it a lot and was supposed to host these dope travellers from Slovenia but something came up and wasnt able to, so she asked if we could host so we took them in to be nice and they stayed with us for a few months actually and now we're all BFFLs. I've visted them a few times in Slovenia with friends too. It's now a chain of BFFLs.

Also I often travel solo since no one else is willing to drop their life and schedule for a $150 flight deal to europe so I go alone. And its fun travelling alone but half the cool stuff I've done and places I've been wouldn't have happened if I didn't meet someone new either through couchsurfing or completely dependent on my own non-socially awkward social skills.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - Thousand splendid suns and When the moon is low. Amazing books.
Movies - Charlie Chaplin. I could watch his films all day. I just really like feel good comedies that drain my attention from the fact that I've sat on my butt for 2-3 hours straight on a couch. Add an extra hour for watching trailers. Picking good movies seems like a job in itself these days.
Music - My playlists are a mess. No expert can ever define my taste in music. Its just pieces of everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Africa when for 4 years with my family when I was young

Left home after I graduated to travel for 8 months. It was great.

Skydiving - best feeling up there. My jumpmaster instructor, J-Rodd (still dont know if that's his real name or not, but its on my certificate so I'll go for real) said that only skydivers know what birds really feel like. So with that being said in my next life I want to be a bird. Preferably in a Tropical rainforest and of a typve of bird that doesn't have too many predators. I feel like i would be the bird to die after 2 weeks of exhausting predator-prey chasing. My cardio is kind of weak.
