Great way to meet new people and a good insight into a city. Living with a local allows you to experience the city to a better extent.

Also, as a student i never have much money when it comes to holidays, yet i love getting away in the long summers i get! So couchsurfing is the perfect mix, allowing me to get away for longer periods of time while keeping to a good budget.
