ABOUT ME

Raised in Montana. US Navy veteran . 50 years in Reno. Divorced with two children and five grandkids. Active in the casino business. I live about 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. I play golf and ski. I have a 5 bedroom , 6 bathroom house. I have hosted over 600 CSers from all over the world. We’ve been able to visit Lake Tahoe, casinos, sporting events, go to dinner, hiking, museums, shooting , Virginia City and/or check out special events in the Reno/Tahoe area. I enjoy good conversation and learning things about the various countries that CS come from. I still work several days a week.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm easy going and like to stay active. Intelligent conversations and learning new things about people's experiences is always interesting to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had CS from all over world stay at my home and enjoy meeting them. Lots on J1 visas headed to Tahoe. Many I am still in touch with and several who have stayed more than once, one 5 times. One couple got married and I had privilege to give the bride away. Have had lots of young people who stayed with me before and after going to Burning Man.

兴趣

Skiing, hiking, golf, going to sporting events, Games, bowling, chess, bridge, pool, driving my Porsche, and investing and business processes. Also for dining I am a meat and potatoes person.

It would be raising a great family. But more specific to CS I have met and made friends with dozens of Couchsurfers in fact a participated in one couple's marriage.

All of the CS I have hosted are younger, actually much younger than I, but I love their energy and enthusiasm. There are lots of activities as hiking, skiing, golfing and enjoying the beach at Lake Tahoe. I have hosted a lot of students who are coming to the area on J1 visas.
