ABOUT ME

I'm friendly, curious about life, like to discuss a range of topics, like to play sport although I'm getting old, love being in the outdoors, camping, walking sailing canoeing, love traveling, love Darwin it's where I was born, but lived elsewhere, love showing people around Darwin, Live with my partner Joanne and her three children, Ben 13, James 11 and Riley 8, I work with the Witness Assistance Service, which is very busy, can speak a little Indonesian, very little French and now even less Spanish, but keen to learn, interested in other people and cultures, like to read and look at Stars and wonder what life is all about because it cant be the money!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING introduced by good friends from Budapest Hungary, like the idea of showing international travelers a different side of Darwin then most would see and visiting other people in in other countries to learn more about others experiences of life. Who knows where this could take us. One World.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hosted a few people and it has been very good fun learning about others cultures, views and perception of Australia and Australians.

Like to read novels with twists. hiansen because of the environmental flavour but also books on philosphy, latest best book I have read was by Wiliam McInnes Australian author, cricket kings it's not really about cricket
Movies, Kurosawa's Seventh Samurai, but like most movies like the idea of going someplace else
