ABOUT ME

I've lived in Germany and Florida but mostly Kingston, ON. I have motorbiked across Canada and travelled recently to Newfoundland for a month, by car. I have an ambition to see the Yukon by motorbike within the next 2 years. I volunteer at a BFM thrift store and distribute meals to street people. My mission is to help people. I offer free repairs to anyone with an electric bike or scooter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No surfers yet, as of Sept 24, 2012. I stayed in a hostel recently in NFLD and stayed up way past my bedtime to share stories of the road with a fellow traveler.

Interests

I like to canoe, tent, hike in the woods, care for lawns, cut wood, visit shut-ins, repair electronics and do Bible studies. christian books and music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know and have heard all 5 calls of the loon: the wolf, yodel, crazy, whippoorwill, and coo. Sept 23, 2012, I saw my first ever buck in the wild, near a beaver pond at my cabin. He looked quite proud with his little set of 3-pointers. I hope he survives the upcoming hunt.
