Have always enjoyed people, cultures, and traveling. In 1964-65, traveled to Hawaii(2), Guam(2), Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines(3), and Okinawa (Duty Station), and Vietnam. In 1966, Med Cruise to Spain, France, Sardinia, Italy, Austria, Bavaria (Germany), Turkey, Crete, and Greece; Puerto Rico and Culebra Island.
Taught for many years on the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation (CA); ‘04-Jan 31, ‘14 in a housing authority’s GED program.
Country boy; worked on dairies, farms, feedlots, orchards, vineyards; Marine; Hippie/Roadie, Bartender; Tour Guide.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I enjoy people and interacting with them. My life is enriched by the diversity and uniqueness of each individual.
Would like to be a host, I believe; and, soon a traveler, again.
Just discovered “Couchsurfing” from a Swiss miss we met and gave a ride to. We also gave her a guest room to spend the night in. She was very nice and it was interesting and very enjoyable visiting with her. My wife and would like to be able to do this for others.

I enjoy a wide variety of music, with a heavy leaning towards late ‘50s-‘70s rock n roll.
I like many movies that run the gamut from Silents to Today’s.
Books: biographies; histories; alternative history/sci-fi.
