I am a 26 year old from Yorkshire in England. I have worked in television since the age of 17 - mainly covering sports events. I am sports fanatic! I have been a member of the Scouts Association since the age of five and through that I have been able to travel to many new places and meet lots of new people, making friendships for life. Visiting new places and meeting new people are the two things I enjoy most in life - so hopefully being on Coachsurfing I will be able to do more of this in the future! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always planned to go away travelling for an extended period before or after university - but I was given a full time job in TV at 17 so sadly I never got the opportunity to do it.

However, I have now saved up some money and I plan to visit lots of new places where I can find cheap flights to - and before I get too old!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much any genre of music, but I much prefer live music with real instruments.

I don't read much or watch many movies. However, as I work in television I write a lot and make TV programmes and online feature inserts for the internet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two most amazing things that stand out to me that I've done are volunteering in Uganda and attending the World Scout Jamboree along with 44'000 other Scouts from around the world. Both were great experiences that have given me loads of stories to tell and given me friendships for life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an easy-going person who'll enjoy a conversation with anyone (especially over a couple of beers!). I like to explore and try new things and meet other people too. I can share good company and good stories and most importantly, have fun!
