Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfed though Ireland, England and Wales and now happy to host others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really enjoyed surfing in Ireland and hosting people in Aus. Meeting new friends and then having contacts in other places that you might visit.

Interests

I have an healthy interest in music and love seeing great live stuff. I dig on food and beer like everyone else pretty much.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything with Roberto Benigni, Tom Waits , Jarmusch, Miyazaki, Classics, Docos, Treme and some HBO type stuff etc. Not huge on horror or wasting time on shite films/tv. Music: Jim Campilongo/ Bill Frisell/ Dr. John/ Derek Trucks/ Tom Waits / Chris Thile/ John Zorn/ Morphine/ Jerry Douglas / Jon Cleary and The Absolute Monster Gentlemen. Reasonably broad although I don't really keep up with the times very well. Books: Anything with Terry Pratchett/ Ruth Ozeki/ heaps more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once fell off a cliff on a small island onto rocks and had to swim back through a channel inhabited by a nursing 4 metre tiger shark whilst bleeding everywhere and coughing up blood. I didn't know it was there until I got to shore and people told me.
