ABOUT ME

Me... Been traveling for many years, never sure what I'm looking for, so I tend to wander. I'll never settle anywhere though, I tend to get bored easily, my attention span is quite low. I'm quite social at times, though most of the time prefer to hang out with myself. Usually travel alone... that way if I f*#k things up, no one is to blame but me... Have gotten into plenty of trouble like this, but it always works out in the end. I was born in Canada to a Dutch mother and a Trinidadian father... is it any wonder I love to wander so much? I've lived in a few places, now I’m in Albania but was recently in Oman… and before that I lived in Italy, Iraq (Kurdistan), Ireland, the UK, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, NYC, Mexico City, Cape Town, Montreal, Sydney... who knows where next?

PHILOSOPHY

I live because I want to see what happens next... who will I meet? Where will I go? What will I do? What will I see? I never know...

Have had many people stay with me in Oman, and met so many incredible people, also stayed a few too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always positive! I've hosted many people in Sur and Sohar while in Oman. Wish there was something like this back when I first started, but then again there was no internet. I miss those days!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

was lost in the wadis and mountains in Oman for 4 days and had to be airlifted off... hardly any food or water, and dehydrated, but I'm still alive and smiling!
