ABOUT ME

My name is Belinda and I'm an Artist! Professional Singer and Musician, also a triple threat in Musical Theatre -Singer/Dancer/Actress- and began my artistic studies in Visual Arts at 12. In Mexico I was teaching Music theory and Singing to students from 4 to 30 years. Currently, I'm doing an internship in restoration of wall paintings in Berlin.

As a child I used to have a top training in swimming, then I met mountain bike, then horse riding and then kung fu! I still love them all. But since I'm an artist now, I stay fit with a continuous training in Ballet and aerial silks.

I love animals, especially big dogs and horses.
And of course I enjoy meeting new people and artists from around the world, learning about new cultures and sharing experiences.
It is a dream of mine to travel the world doing what I love the most: ART.

Two of my favourite quotes are Tolkien's and happen to be about journeys:
"Not all who wander are lost" -Gandalf
"Gandalf: You'll have a tale to two to tell when you come back.

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing to me is my family, I love them with all my heart. Although I know that there are some sacrifices you must do to achieve your goals and dreams, such as living away from them. Sometimes it can be hard staying away from home and the people you love, but I know that if it wasn't for them I would be locked up inside of my parents house afraid of the world and all the possibilities that comes with it. Now I've been moving from one city to another for 5 years (I visit my family very often or stay in touch if I'm far away, I need it to reload my soul and spirit), chasing new schools, teachers or art projects and I've become a nomad.

I consider myself as a free spirit and I'm always looking for a new place and new experiences! I don't believe in luck nor failure; I believe in good habits, conscious work, learning from mistakes and moving on.

I love almost all kinds of Music like Classic, Mexican traditional music, Funk, Hard Rock, Pop-Rock, Bossanova, R&B, Pop. Most of all I enjoy listening to Symphonic Metal bands like Epica, Nightwish, Within Temptation...and on sth different, I love Maroon 5, John Mayer and Mumford & Sons. I really dislike electronic music and reggeaton.

Seeing around 11 shows on Broadway in 2 months on low budget.
Hiking up to Trolltunga in Norway and the Dolomiti di Brenta in Italy.
Wake up at 4 am when I was a teenie for training, following my first dream.
Travel...anywhere is amazing.
Auditioning for musical shows.
