Join Couchsurfing to see Bine_and_Ritson’s full profile. It’s free!
BEFORE READING THIS, PLEASE CONSIDER:
If you're intending to write us a Couch Request, please read our profile carefully. See if we have something in common or that the spirit's flowing :)
And we are not fans of unpersonalized messages (type of copy/paste) from members that just registered recently and feel to lazy to fill out their profile and/or gathering references. Couchsurfing is about trusting people, keep that in mind.
And please let us know WHY THE HELL WE SHOULD HOST YOU! Convince us, and our couch & hearts will be open for you :)
About me or let's say about us:
Bine (29 yrs old), I am living in Lisbon for 3 years now. I fell in love with the city. I am interior designer, but my last job in Lisbon was working for Expedia. 2 years ago I had a horrible accident (got hit by a taxi here in Lisbon) and it took me a long time to recover (until May 2015). So then I decided that I am not going to work during summer to enjoy the free time and to travel.
Ritson (26 yrs old) is originally from Cape Verde and already here for 5 years now. He is working as a bartender & table service guy. We’re together as a couple for 2 years now and nearly living together for the same period, too (the accident really made us stick together).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are interested in SURFING, HOSTING, joining EVENTS and helping the COMMUNITY (remember: you get what you give)
We love to travel (who doesn’t) and we love to cook! We’re trying to pursue a unmaterialistic and pure kind of lifestyle; for example many of the decorations in our house we found on flea markets, second hand stores and sometimes even on the streets (unbelievable what people consider as “trash”).
Ritson’s a huge fan of Bob Marley (but he is not a Rastafari and we ain’t smoking weed ;) ) We love the ocean (although Ritson claims the ocean here is waaaay to cold for an African; we do surfing & bodyboarding).
And of course we share the love for Lisbon! Especially the area around (towards Intendente, Anjos, Mouraria) is super multi cultural; you can basically travel half of the world by just walking down one street, there’s Chinese & Indian & Bangladeshi restaurants, shops, markets; African bars, Ukrainian hairdressers and so on…. And oh yes there is the German Goethe Institute close by, they are serving cold fresh German beer :)
