ABOUT ME

I am a Hindi teacher and Tourism Professional.I did my Master in tourism Management from Banaras Hindu University which gives me sound knowledge of tourism aspect of India. I work as guest faculty for the Tourism Department of Vasanta Collage which is affiliated with Banras Hindu University at Rajghat,Varanasi.

My main profession is teaching Hindi and research assistant. I have been working for several study abroad program as Hindi Instructor which include a study abroad program called Where There Be Dragons, a group of Italian students from Centro Risorse India,a group of bridge-year Princeton University students, and Stockholm University ,Sweden.

I teach any and all skill levels, from travelers looking to pick up a few phrases to intensive Hindi/Bhojpuri students looking to continue their studies.

Every year I go to mountain with Princeton University students there we volunteer for local Non- profit organisation in building the home for home less people.

PHILOSOPHY

As my personal philosophy I do not worry about the consequence,I just work and result follow me.life is full of hindrances so be stuff to tackle it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in in couch surfing by meeting people over chai or coffee either at my place or somewhere down town .we talk about different aspect of my city and India such as about politics, NGO works, volunteering, social life, internationarelations and economic development.I answer the questions of couch surfing participant.also people write me email asking about the different questions about the India and I reply them.

Since teaching Hindi is my profession so I will not be able to take them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always had great experience meeting with new people and sharing the knowledge of two different culture.it is very interesting for me and I enjoy it a lot.

I am very much interested in knowing the different culture ,fair and festival ,life style and my deep interest is in learning other languages this is the reason that so far I learnt Russian,French ,Italian a bit Japani and now I am learning Urdu.

Apart from these I am also interested in watching cricket,travelling to new destinations,listening soft music,collecting nice book for my teaching reference,volunteering and so on.

Movies: I like movie based on social and community life such as Peepli live ,3 Idiots ,Lagan etc.

Music: Music I enjoy from Mohammad Rafi,Lata Mangeskar,Kishore Kumar,Rahat Fateh Ali khan,and Kumar Sanu.

Books: I am not very much interested in reading book however I have read some books of Chetan Singh,Arundhti Roy,and I also read a book called Santaram.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In year 2009 I was in kanda valley in Utterakhand with Princeton Students,and It rained so heavily continuously for three to four days.There was huge land slide the place where we stayed.I personally participated in helping locals with my group.
