Hello there! I'm Robin, a 31-yo woman from Belgium.

I like travelling, meeting people and experiencing new adventures.
In my hometown, that results in me being an active volunteer in our local nature-organisation and jazzclub.

In my free time I like to walk in nature with my camera. There I try to get different types of insects to pose in front of my lens. But solitary bees will always be my one and only love.
At home you can find me listening to vinyls while I read, adjust my pictures or knit a pair of socks.

When I travel, I prefer an active holiday. And that's why all of my recent travels were hikes. I walked the:

- West Highland Way (Schotland)
- GR70 Chemin de Stevenson (France)

Even though I don't have any problems meeting new people along the way, I'd like to experience a new way of travelling and visiting a country.

And I like welcoming reliable people into my home and (if I have time) show them around in my typical Flemish city.

I'm fond of photographing all the tiny wonders in life that other people walk by without noticing.

I enjoy going to a festival or concert. Most musicstyles can please me, but my heart definitely lies with soul, jazz, blues and rock from the seventies and eighties.

I discovered a pretty rare beespecies (Lasioglossum pallens) in my hometown.

I also had one of my photographs used as the cover image for Journal of Ecology (Volume 110, Issue 6 - june 2022).

In 2021 I became the editor-in-chief of our local Natuurpuntmagazine (nature-organisation).

I'm a pretty decent photographer, so I can always help with boosting your photography- or Lightroomskills to the next level! Or I can also just take a nice picture of you or your family.

Apart from that, I can teach you a thing or two about the basics of knitting.

I also have quite some knowledge about endemic fauna and flora, so if you're a naturelover I can teach you about our local nature.
