About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel and learn from others as much as possible.
ABOUT ME
I come from Ãâ¦ÃÂÃÆódÃâ¦Ãº. I am scientist, I finished my PhD in molecular biology at MPI-CBG in Dresden in Germany. During my PhD I searched for new genes involved in DNA repair in humans. You can have a look on my podcast summarizing my work here, and if you are scientific freak you can have a look on my original paper here.
Now I decided to travel a bit in two different socks. This trip is a very important "school of life" for me.
Initially I went to Asia for several months. I spent two and a half month in India, mostly in Himalayas. Then I bicycle from Cambodia to Laos. I visited Thailand and I stayed a bit on Eco-Farm in Sumatra, Indonesia. Than I got to Brazil... one day before carnival. From there I moved to Paraguay, where I devoted my time to study Spanish on my own. Afterwards I visited amazing Salt Desert in Bolivia. and met my sister and my cousin in South Peru. We traveled together for three weeks. Then I moved on my own to fascinating Peru and Colombian Amazon. From Colombia I managed to sail from Cartagena to Panama. From Panama I moved on land through Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala. Right now I am in Mexico.
On the current update about my travel have a look on my travel blog.
PHILOSOPHY
Naturally born optimist.
I am learning a lot during this trip. I met so many different people. There are indefinite possibilities on this earth. In most cases unhappiness comes from our inside not from outside conditions. Now I know that almost (if not everything) is possible. The true power lies inside us, and I know that I need to explore it more..
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For me CouchSurfing is about sharing. Sharing accommodation is an excuse to share other, much more important values like: experience, knowledge, different approaches to life.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Thanks to CouchSurfing I met wonderful people in different corners of the world, great hosts, great traveling mates. I was able to find amazing company for Christmas in Bangkok, my first Christmas without my family.
