I smile a lot and get along with everyone. My travel style is very much hyper local - 'How can I feel like I live here? Where is the bingo game? Where is the cooking class? Where is that informal little bluegrass jam that happens every week?'

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had such wonderful experiences with Couchsurfing! I don't do much planning when I travel so I'm not able to use it as much as I like but I get really excited when I have something lined up and I always have such warm feelings about a place when I've couchsurfed there. I can't wait to have my own place one day so I can host too.

Centres d'intérêt

I love riding my bike everywhere, cooking veggies from the farmer's market, crafting, writing short stories, and reading. I am a master thrifter. I love to be outdoors. If it's a sunny day I'll be anxious being inside no matter what temperature it is. I love to hike and camp and beach.

For now I'm driving across country in my little home on wheels, a '72 VW camper - Nellie.

I swear, every trip I take is on the same level of amazing. I have finally found my way of traveling and now I never stray - move slowly, talk to everyone, and be curious about everything. Open yourself up and the world opens up to you!

I have a basic knowledge of sewing so I can help with some alterations or machine issues or if a project just isn't going well. I'm no pro but I have had my share of frustrations so I know about those!

I speak fairly fluent Spanish so I can be a conversation buddy to someone learning.

I make a mean sweet potato enchilada, I can help with basic sewing problems, and I love manual labor, dishes and cleaning - put me to work!
