ABOUT ME
British back-packer. Work in ski resorts during the winter and have time to travel during the summer. Graduated in law at university, but want to experience the world now while I can.
PHILOSOPHY
Have fun first, otherwise what are you working for?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently in the Middle East and looking to meet local people who can give me a greater insight into their home town. When İ have my own place back home, İ will offer to host so İ can return the favour.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Stayed with some awesome people in some cool places. Hitch-hiking the Black Sea Coast in Turkey is my biggest CS achievement so far.
Interests
Sport, music, languages, travelling. The usual. The ski industry is currently my profession, so I guess that stands out. I love anything that gives me a feeling of freedom, independence, exploration and a sense of achievement at the end, like hiking and ski touring.

Music, Movies, and Books
If a movie's won an award, I'll probably like it, not really a fan of trashy films or TV. Got a broad music taste, but especially love Radiohead. Read a lot of books, really enjoyed travel accounts by explorers like Wilfred Thesiger, Patrick Leigh Fermor who were lucky enough to travel before the world became so ınternational.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked up a mountain at midnight and skied back down under the light of a full moon.
