ABOUT ME

I'm a restless but carefree 22 year old boy. When I'm not in class or at my favorite local bars; I spend much of my time exercising. I don't realy care for the gym, but it gives me the chance to stay fit for all the rock climbing, snowboarding and hiking I love so much. After that I try to eat well, read good books and doing my best to never go to bed too early.

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is short inspite of our plans, so tell the girls they're pretty while you can, because one day thy're gone and all you got left are some empty bottles and some old country songs....Because this big old river will kill us in time. Till then we'll drink it's weight in cheap beer and wine. We can drink just as fast as the river is strong, and we'll drink till we're gone."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While traveling in New Zealand I made a friend in Auckland. When he heard I was planning on heading to the South Island to do some snowboarding in Queenstown he came to me the next day with two names and phone numbers of old friends of his that lived there saying "They know yar comin, just give em a ring and you'll be sweet as." His friends had never met me, but within an hour of arriving in Queenstown they had picked me up, gave me a place on the couch and had cooked me diner. They hosted me for 2 weeks and during that time I made great friends with my hosts and many other of their friends. They were so welcoming it was a fight to even get them to allow me to buy them a round at a bar as a thank you.
The love and welcomeness from these fellow ski bums is something I am thankful for every day and hope to provide the same open arms welcome to all scruffy travelers who might need a place on my couch. So don't be shy, I can't wait to meet you.
