About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience as much of America as we can in two months
ABOUT ME
April, 2013 -
Unfortunately, I'm an English major who hates writing about himself. It's even worse when it's for the two of us. But here goes.....
We are a couple, together since early 2008, married since early 2011. I am a native New Yorker teaching English and EunYoung is a native Korean working in a trade company in Busan, South Korea.
Since getting married, we've both been wanting to take some real time off to travel and enjoy ourselves. We made a plan to quit our jobs and head to the States for a few months. For EunYoung, this is a chance to learn about America outside of what she's seen on TV. For me, it's a chance to reconnect with a country that I've been living outside of since 2007 and missing.
We are looking forward to seeing some of the different places and meeting a lot of the people that make the United States the amazing place it is.
Hopefully, you've made it this far and if you have, I can promise you we'll be good guests. Clean and courteous, respectful of your space and grateful for the chance to share it. We'd love to chip in any way we can. Clean dishes, cook meals, buy a round or two....
PHILOSOPHY
Take it one day at a time and be open to what comes your way. Remember that what you thought you knew may be just the opposite. Keep your eyes and ears open, there's a lot to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that's around. EunYoung enjoys art, documentaries, history, pretty things, and laid back tunes. Andrew's first musical love is Phish, but spends a lot of time listening to other genres from classical to IDM and DJ's.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are very interested in learning about and from different people. One of the greatest things about living as part of the expat community here in Busan, South Korea is all the wonderful people we meet. Learning is an organic thing and we are excited to see how it grows during this trip.
