ABOUT ME
Once upon a time... Allyson met Morgan in a bar...fell in love...found a lovely little place with a room in a sky, adopted a kitty and a birdie, and lived happily ever after...
PHILOSOPHY
love. that's what everything comes from and returns to. (we're kind of hippies)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We love our life, it's currently really quiet, we're both taking some time off work right now. Cook, read, laugh, watch lots of tv on Netflix and hang out with our cat and bird. We also roam around the city finding cool new things a lot.
Interests
Allyson: reading and cooking occupy most of the space in my head usually. I also do a lot of both, and a lot of reading ABOUT cooking. I run a super lame budget cooking blog that like three people follow. I love my family like there's no tomorrow, but sadly they don't live here.
Morgan: Likes mellow/old/odd music, Jim Jarmusch movies, books about drugs, mental illness, eatern religions, and every charles bukowski. Thinks too much and speaks too little
collectively, we like learning, our pets, decorating our apartment, smoking and drinking things, and eating delicious food.
We're also really ridiculously in love and just want to meet people and have adventures.
Allyson doesn't drink at all, but Morgan does (sometimes a lot)

Music, Movies, and Books
while this is a really long this, between the two of us some major influences are:
charles bukowski, ani difranco, bad zombie novels, jim jarmusch, united states of tara, barbara kingsolver, things about buddhism, food, drugs and mental illness
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
waking up after spending a night outside to the most perfect sunrise every, saying "Oh my god" and then falling back asleep.
Walking down a path at a music festival at night, being told to turn my flashlight off, complying and being rewarded by thousands of tiny dancing drops of light everywhere. (broken open glow sticks, i'm sure it was awful for the environment but it was really pretty)
Teach, Learn, Share
We have a couch open to anyone but we especially welcome queers, people of colour, trans* people etc. Vegetarians and Vegans gleefully accommodated. We are joyfully atheist, fiercely pro-life and passionately in love. We believe in using non-oppressive and inclusive language.
People to cook with, learn with, drink and smoke with will find a home here.
