To lead a relaxed life, enjoy myself and spend time with interesting people. Oh, and learning the guitar!

ABOUT ME

I see myself as a rather relaxed and social person. I lie to be active and do things, but always try to have some balance and not to overdo it. I value my sparetime greatly and work a bit less to have more time for hobbies, friends and those hours when I do nothing. I enjoy learning new things, either by trying something I haven't done before or by reading about stuff that interests me. I enjoy science, politics and discussions about anything.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live with balance, to enjoy the moment and not to worry about the future. Doing too much of something, like working, leaves less time for something else, like sleeping or friends. The other way around is also true. If I don't work enough I get bored, tired and lazy. The tricky part is to find that balance but I think listening to my body works very well.

I also try to practice the "death-bed philisophy" which basically is to think about how I will look back at my life when I'm old - what will I regret and what will just be good memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't surfed or hosted yet so I mainly participate in the social meet-ups. Hopefully I will try some surfing and hosting in the near future.

Interests

I do a lot of sports and regularly go climbing. I also do skiing, inlines, some running, table tennis. Reading is also a main interest, mainly sci-fi and fantasy. I've always been doing music in some form in choirs, orchestras, etc. At the moment I'm enjoying playing the guitar and singing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Unless you're interested in cell biology I guess can teach basics on the guitar, the flute, juggling balls and clubs, cooking, climbing, apple cup-cakes, etc.
