ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Bishr. I work in media and strategy for the luxury world — which means my days are a mix of creativity, structure, and way too many decks. I’m based in Dubai, but I like escaping to cities like Madrid where life feels a bit more human, spontaneous, and warm.

I’m a bit introverted at first — I usually take a moment before jumping into conversations. But once the vibe is right, I love diving into good topics — culture, psychology, design, why people do what they do. I value honesty, calm energy, and people who are comfortable being themselves.

If we hang out, expect “let’s find a good hidden bar” then “let’s hit an underground techno club!.” I’m about meaningful moments and loud ones.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in Humanity, Freedom and the good in people, I always try to promote the idea of Human-to-Human dialogue and multicultural experiences and i always try to find a common ground to start from. I believe we're here on this earth to learn,love and pass these forward!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I might be able to offer a couch for fellow surfers visiting Dubai (depending on the availability), or I might be able to show people around this crazy city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a lot of couchsurfing “show-around” experiences back home in Damascus since I didn’t have an extra couch to offer. Met a lot of great people and I’m still in touch with them after all these years.
