Hey you!
My name is Lucas but everyone calls me Luke, was born in Brazil, raised in Portugal and moved to Iceland in 2016. Have lived in Greenland as well and my love is Greece.
Have visited 47 countries and came to Couch Surfing to travel and host people, make connections and enjoy life! Many years without coming here, decided now live again this experience (2021).
Now I am studying French Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute, basically making French desserts…I have studied Tourism and Hospitality, have worked in the Tourism industry for many years till covid comes. Have worked as an Airline Staff and receptionist in one of the most important hotels in Iceland.
Iceland is an amazing country but more a love and hate situation… you can imagine having 6 months night and 6 months day!
I am gay but I have no preferences on having CS experiences with any gender, I like to connect with people and I am very respectful, have all kinds of friends.
I believe in God, I sometimes go to the church and I have friends also with all kinds of religions.
Travel is my therapy, I use traveling to heal myself, to connect with other people and don’t make so much search about a place, like to get surprised.
I have met some crazy people from this website, I guess is normal when you are young, but I am more into well behaved guys now… Now I believe that I am a 40 years old guy inside a 27 years old boy! :)
My Life would be a book or a Netflix serie and I am jure you would enjoy!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

CouchSurfing is a way to connect people from different places but also traveling in a cheaper way. Is a mix of both that brings good times.
I am in a period of my life that I have been to a lot of countries, most of them staying at hotels but I wanna be with locals, share a nice dinner a nice lunch, talk about life, share my thoughts without being judged. Hope from here we can have a friendship or just s good time is also ok!
