ABOUT ME

Hi there. I'm the main one who's signed us up, so I'll tell you about myself. Hi there! I'm a fairly cheerful person, who has large quantities of quiet around her. I cook, I sew, I craft, and generally am the one who handles the house. The kidlet works with metal at school, as well as works with it in a full time job now. She's fairly interesting in her own right.

Between us, we've got stories to share, crafts to share, clothing if you need it, and at dinner, there's always enough for another plate. Day times is fend for yourself time. ::grin::

I've always enjoyed welcoming travelers who simply need a quiet place to rest for a bit. Nothing majorly exciting happens here, but sometimes that's a plus.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just joined, so as of yet, there's just that empty couch waiting for someone to claim it for a time.

Interests

Books - mostly science fiction or fantasy. A few mysteries if you look hard.

Computers. Between us, we have one for every person and critter on the place.

We're learning to garden, in fits and spurts. Feel free to give any advice that seems relevant. ::grin:: We might not always take it, but I, at least, enjoy listening.

Come, pet the dog. Try to pet the formerly feral cat. He's nice, but shy.

Go for a walk in the woods with one of the family.

Come wander through the tiny town with me. I'll show you the thrift shops, and perhaps we'll find some interesting treasures.

Ask nicely, and we might find our way over to the swamp, just for a change.

Maybe we'll work on crafting something. The objects change regularly.

Otherwise, just relax, enjoy the quiet, the wireless internet, the cooking, and the crazy stories. And laughter, don't forget the laughter.
