Widowed; have a mini schnauzer (old, arthritic, and prone to bark, but a pussycat, basically).

I'm a big reader, work out almost every day (lift, run, swim, volleyball, etc.), and very interested in travel and languages.

I'm just starting; I can host and would also like to travel--mainly to places whose languages I've studied (Spanish-speaking areas, France, Italy, Germany, Greece).

I've voluntarily taught English (one-on-one) and would love to practice French, Spanish, German, and Italian. I also live in a lovely and intersting part of the world--the countryside and suburbs near Philadelphia.
