I've been teaching German as a foreign language in Vietnam for two years and travelling all over Asia.
For the last four years I have been living in Budapest, writing, teaching German and enjoying the beautiful city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling in a non-commercialized way and I like meeting new people! So far, I've been Couchsurfing with a friend, while going across Russia on the Transibirian and also in Germany and Hong Kong and every single experience was great! I was always blown away by the generosity and friendliness of people. Also, I think it's a really good way of meeting locals!

Interests

Outdoor sports, such as hiking, climbing (mountains, trees, ...), swimming, diving (freediving and scuba diving), reading, singing and making music with other people, playing theatre, martial arts, yoga, meditation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: all good books, but especially fantasy.
Movies: Martial arts and animes, such as Crouching Tiger, hidden Dragon; My neighbour Totoro, generally movies from Hayao Miyazaki.
Music: Folk metal and power metal, but also all kinds of other music, depends on the song.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to the Gobi desert at 5 o'clock in the morning, crossed a freezing cold river in order to get there and watched the sunrise over the sand dunes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning Hungarian for two years now (such a hard language :P). I'm happy to teach English or German and also do meditation, yoga or martial arts with people. I always enjoy playing music with people!
