Overview
About Me
I'm an economics student from the US, and I am self-employed in motion graphics and CGI. I like cooking, woodworking, playing guitar and shooting pool. I am studying in London for the winter and spring of 2018, and I am looking to get around and meet interesting people (and learn snooker).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books have to be The Hobbit, The Mauritius Command, and any great biography.
I don't watch many movies at all, but I like Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, and Spinal Tap. I like all kinds of really, really terrible movies too.
I like to play classic rock on guitar, and I listen to that and jazz. Led Zeppelin, Dire Straits, and Miles Davis are some of my favorites. I like folk and bluegrass too, and I'm always open to new music, particularly if I get to be a part of it :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I designed and hand-built my own mandolin, but I'm not very good at playing it yet, and I think it might break soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got a great Swedish Meatball recipe that you just can't have unless we meet, and I am always excited to learn/share recipes, workouts or songs on guitar. I also can't get enough 8-Ball pool, and I would be really excited to learn snooker.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As long as there is a scrubby pad and hot water, I like doing dishes :)
