Long time since I updated profile. Currently (2018) I am living in Johannesburg doing fieldwork for a PhD in Social Anthropology.

ABOUT ME

Grew up in Northern Norway, lived in Bergen for a few years and now i live in Oslo. I guess im the calm, quiet type, and i'd rather go to a bar and talk with people than go to a rave.

I am currently living in South Africa. Eating tofu and catching monkeys.

Read mostly non-fiction, like biographies, and travel litterature. And books about the middle east, the author Knausgård is nice, an a lot of anthropology related books and papers. Zines!When it comes to music i listen to absolutely everything. Black Metal, Hiphop, Hardcore, Punk, Indie, 60s Girl Pop etc. The Smiths, Big L, The National, Minor Threat, Hank Williams, and so on. Did i mention i Love the smiths? Also, Mac Demarco is a great new musician, i can't recommend his music enough. Movies: I love documentaries about whatever. I can watch docus all day long. Im also a big fan of movies by Aki Kaurismäki and Michael Haneke.Tv: Peep Show, Sopranos, Ideal, The Wire, Solsidan.
