COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting and surfing for 20+ years, but did not know that it had a name. Usually, friends of friends....people that I met at hostels......

Since joining couchsurfing, I have hosted, but not surfed. Most surfers in Albany, NY are here for internships or research.

I read non-stop...don't let me choose the movie, it will be lousy. I love covers from local bands who win your heart. My favorite place in the world is Sunday afternoon at Duke's Bar in Waikiki dancing and singing along with Henry Kapono.

Played cards with out speaking from Florence to Venice. Almost everyone can add to 21 and the language barrier was not problem. VERY COOL!

Improving the urban school experience! Yep, after living the good life traveling Europe, North America, and the South Pacific, I became a school teacher. I love sharing my experiences with students and learning about their lives and culture. Big plus...lots of travel time!
