I do like books and ones with the most dust on them Classics and comedy are my favourite genres. My favourite books are: the Odyssey, Catch 22, Crime and Punishment, etc.

The most embarassing travel story is when I was travelling around southern europe on a train pass. I had to head north to Croatia from Greece and jumped on the train at Thessalonika. I didn't even consider at the time that Macedonia would require Australians to have an entry visa as I would have only be on the train through the country for 30-45 mins. Sure enough they stopped the train at the border and took me off. They put me in a jail cell for the night until the next train back to Greece arrived. No-one could speak English and my Macedonian is rusty to say the least, it was concerning when they took my passport... Anyway I got back on the train at 4 in the morning so I just waited for a travel agent to open and booked a flight that day, I was a little bitter and didn't want to give 50 euros just to cross Macedonia.

So always check visa guidelines!
