ABOUT ME

Hello, I was born and raised in the UK, until I was 19, I came here to the USA to work as an au-pair. I travelled around a bit then became a resident and worked for a charter airline and lived out of a suitcase for 5 yrs travelling the globe. My passion is theater and dance, I lived in NY on and off for 10 yrs and did community theater and modern dance. I lived with many different people, including roommates from Indonesia, who made many delicious meals!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to surround myself with people that I can learn from or inspire.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting new people who visit Orlando and are new to this country or like minded people. If there is space in my house I am happy to offer a room for a few nights.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have wrote to a few people on here and met several at the last event at the Ethiopian restaurant here in Orlando. I enjoyed meeting everyone and had good conversations.

Interests

I have stayed with quite a few people and couchsurfed but not from this site. On the whole they have all been positive experiences. My last one was in New Hampshire, my flight was delayed for 3 days because of snow storms and I was offered a couch in a cabin in the woods, it was beautiful and there were many animals, so my son had a great time there, the person was very easy going and we are now friends. I will be meeting her in Orlando soon:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

wow thats a big question. Well I realize this may not be of interest to everyone on here, but giving birth to another human has to be one of the most amazing things for me.
