ABOUT ME

Currently I am working as a project engineer and manager in an engineering company.

For a Finn I can say that I am talkative person... But I also understand that sometimes it is a bit difficult to follow what I am trying to say (in any language), so don't hesitate to ask me to repeat.

I am usually social and always curious.

Beside Finnish I can speak fluent English, more or less fluent French and some Swedish. I've also learned some words and one-liners from other languages, but you can hardly count them as language skills. My active hobbies are student life and CISV, and I've also got some others that are now on hold for a while.

If you know how to say "thanks" in their language you are able to receive gifts, but if you are able to say "you are welcome" then you are able to give gifts too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For hosting, I can offer one mattress place, my couch isn't fit for sleeping. Extreme people can also try hammock outside. Preferably I take maximum 2 surfers for a night. There is also possibility to go to sauna on certain days, all CS quests who've been there have liked it so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have hosted more than 10 surfers and been hosted about the same amount. Good experinces (even if I have now seen also some bizarre things) all together and I would like to get more and keep it all positive.

With 3 couchsurfing friends that I have now both hosted and they have hosted/shown me around in their home cities. I am quite happy about this even if I usually don't keep that much contact with the people I have been involved with.

In Nancy where I was doing my Erasmus exchange I also participated in the local CS meetings and found that also to be nice way to get to know some local surfers.
