ABOUT ME

im an independent, strong, friendly people person. im a live show addict and have seen more than i can remember, which is still not enough. im constantly asking people for new music and eager to hear more. i enjoy teaching and am always trying to improve my methods in the classroom.

i love giving back. one of my fav jobs was being a volunteer coordinator for americorps. spending my time helping people and the community made me happy. as does teaching, especially env ed. i love being outdoors and combining my 2 passions is perfect. its important to me to have a job that i enjoy waking up for in the morning.

i grew up in PA, moved to CA..lived in the Bay Area and Central Cali for a year and a half, then moved to Flagstaff, AZ and was there for almost 4 years. I am currently teaching english in South Korea.

i consider myself to be a lifelong learner. i enjoy hearing other peoples' experiences and taking a lesson from them if i can to adapt to my own life. seemingly serious, i relish having a good time, meeting new people and traveling to the places i've dreamed of.
i am an avid hiker/backpacker/nature lover, but also enjoy a night out in the city...after ive picked the twigs out of my hair.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiked to the top of mt. fuji, stood above the clouds and watched the sun rise, hiked for 6 weeks on the appalachian trail through 3 states.

coming to and staying in korea has been a big challenge and personal accomplishment for me
