I lived in China for 10 years. After working for a law firm for a few years, I found out that I couldn't get a certificate in China to actually be a lawyer, so I moved to California. After hanging out in Silicon Valley learning to how to create a startup company, I figured out that I needed to learn to computer code. So, I decided to move to Hollywood and study directing. That was great, but somehow I never became an overnight success. I returned to Canada and applied for law school, you know, so I could get a real job. I wasn't accepted, so I thought why not learn Russian.

I'm currently learning to computer code, teaching English, and learning Russian. I'm considering applying for law school in Russia some day if I I can learn Russian, which isn't really happening so far....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents are visiting St. Petersburg in July, so I was thinking I'd take the overnight train on the 19th. I'll be with my parents from 8:30 until 17:30 on the 20th and 21st. I'm going to visit some friends Sunday morning (22) and then head back to Moscow in the afternoon.

I read about a hundred books and decided that I'll read more someday when I'm rich. To me, reading is like watching sports. Why watch sports when you can play them.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure what's happening here. I was searching for a hostel and couch surfing came up. This is my first experience. Perhaps we could go to the grocery store and I'll buy everything for dinner together and help cook.... I can cook a little, but you might want to supervise the process :)
