Short term = Get some ice cream from the corner store. Long term = keep learning as a musician and student of the natural world. Stay curious about everything known and unknown in the world, and don't let fear or anxiety keep me from looking around.

ABOUT ME

I think too much. I get really excited about cool ideas and luvvvv talking about them with anyone who shares that excitement. (Mycelium/tree networks, common resource management, endosymbiosis and evolution, etc.) Playing and singing ground me and help me be present. Same with drawing. I like to cook, but mostly the same things. (Pizza and tacos/burritos w/ endless variations).

PHILOSOPHY

Letting my curiosity guide me. Being as honest as possible with my friends, family and myself. Staying present.

More philosopheeey, I kinda roll with a mixture of Buddist and French ideas mixed with some stoics and other junk I've stuck on there. In the end, a pragmatist looking to get free.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

looking for comfy couches and sweet people to meet in my travels. Hoping to extend my home to others when I return to Seattle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No capital C couchsurfing experience. But i live in a communal home of 5 where many a person has crashed on our couches.

兴趣

I have a lot, cuase ya, learning is fun. Been playing a lot of music the past year in a steel drum band and a samba group. Also improvisational singing. Been really interested in animals that live around or in human cities like crows, raccoons, and bats. Excited about this giant crow rookery near where I live in seattle. Something like 10,000 crows live there.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went from playing zero instruments two years ago, to being able to hang on the easiest drums in a samba group, playing multiple steel drums, and singing pretty alright. And I can diddle on the Uke and guitar.

I love learning pretty much anything, but right now I am particularly interested in becoming a better musician, learning more about radical institution building, ecology/botany/biology, and bats.

I also love having philosophical conversations about whatever you fancy.

I can cook, so lets share a meal. Pizza from scratch or burritos are what I do best, but happy to experiment with anything. Vegetarian or Vegan preferred.
