ABOUT ME

At 58 I feel like I've just gotten started!I have a penchant for travel and slip away when I can.My kid(16yrs) is showing the same trait. We're planning a trip to Nepal/India.

PHILOSOPHY

To know 'ones self' frees you from so many things. I strive to take each day as it very well could be the last. Relating to everyone I meet on very simple levels has made my life very rewarding. I'm still in awe of so many things around me and could not imagine ever ceasing to wander this earth.

I am working on alot of projects out of town and am wanting to see if I can incorporate Couch Surfing.

Photography/cooking(not a snob)/walking/documentaries/exploring out of the way places/wine/cigars/Spanish/playing drums/meeting people from other cultures/places/ a good discussion, I could go on....

I find myself watching a lot of documentaries but do take in the ocasional 'tent-pole' movie. Listen to anything but rap/hip-hop(sorry kids)/Readiing mostly Spanish stuff (El Pais), Bios, fiction and non

Other than the birth of my son (which was pretty amazing) a distant second (and there have been a few) would be seeing the Coliseum 'up close and personal' for the first time.( Might not be a big deal to most, but remember-I'm still a boy from a small 'hamlet' in N.W. Pennsylvania :) )

I really think I have more 'gifts' than 'skills' if you will. Although I'm pretty good at helping people organize a task/trip/jobs it really depends on what's needed at the time but the best thing I could share is my willingness to listen. I enjoy and appreciate exposure to anything that's out of my experience.
