I am a college grad with a travelers heart. I studied social science and it is still my favorite thing on the planet. I love colors, the ocean, mountains, and tall buildings that make you a little dizzy just looking up at them. I lived for a time in Wales, Chicago, Thailand, Des Moines, and Durham. I now live in Raleigh, North Carolina. I absolutely love it here. The mountains and ocean within a few hours drive and the warm weather almost year-round.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling, but I would much rather have an insider's look into a city versus the tourist "rip-off' scheme that happens so frequently. When I travel it is either for months or days. When my travels are no longer than a few days, I like to stay with locals who love the city they live in. I know I have life lessons to share, and I have a good listening ear for others.
