I'm interested in making friends from all around the world, learning as much of your culture as I can, and offering to share my Aussie culture to you. I grew up on a farm here in Australia, and have been living in Melbourne for the last 4 years while I studied at University.
I've only traveled overseas twice, but I've had experiences in very multicultural environments (International conferences, leader at University accommodation, etc.), and I've always thoroughly enjoyed being around people from different cultures. Particularly after my recent trip to Israel for a 2 week conference with people from 62 different countries, I caught the travel bug and I'm very excited to travel much more and meet heaps of new people!
In 2017 I plan to start a masters at a University in Europe where I'll live for two years (and maybe more?). Before I decide which Uni to go to I want to travel as much as I can, and meet lots of people who I can learn from to decide where I should move to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to use Couchsurfing as a way to experience other cultures while I'm at home, and to make friends from around the world. I really enjoy being around people from different cultures, and I pride myself in communicating well with people from around the world.

Interests

I'm a country kid at heart who enjoys all things outdoors. I love wakeboarding & camping with mates, snorkeling, building cars, building planes, and building most other things that go fast and make loud noises.

Had a beer with the second man on the moon (Buzz Aldrin) while I was in Jerusalem, Israel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wakeboarding, camping, outback Australia, Melbourne.
From my house you can travel throughout Melbourne and explore lots of Australia. I can drive us to lots of different places throughout this state (Victoria) and maybe even further.
I spend lots of time with the Monash University Waterski & Wakeboard club where we often take our big wake boat out into the country and have the most awesome fun together. I'd love to take couchsurfers out wakeboarding with us, and I guarantee you would have lots of fun.
