Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've contributed to Couchsurfing in the past (financially). I think the best way to participate is to plug into the community and offer a great surfing experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once surfed a couch in San Francisco. It was a little odd (not affiliated with Couchsurfing proper). My host's roommate asked 'who the f*ck is this?' when he saw me sleeping there, because he wanted to watch Spongebob Squarepants on the couch (which in the same room as the TV).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drank from a puddle in the middle of the Mohave.

I've eated bugs a few times.

Once, I slept on the beach in Jamaica - the incoming tide woke me up.

I bicycled along many miles of the Canal du Midi in southern France.

Watch the (somewhat risque) anime series 'Goldenboy' - it's kinda like couch surfing in action (too much sex though, maybe).
