ABOUT ME

I am an easy going and open minded person that among many other things likes traveling, being in the outdoors, reading, playing pick up sports, and listening to NPR. I still can't figure out what I'm doing for the rest of my life but in the mean time and trying to meet lots of people and see lots of beautiful places. I heard about Couchsurfer from a cousin who couchsurfed the world while trying to make it as a pro tennis player! Seems like a great way to meet lots of interesting people who have great experiences, ideas, and personalities derived from their lives of travel and interaction.

Tough to put it all into a short sentence. I'll stick with be authentic...and treat others with respect.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Certainly surf alot as I'm on the move a good deal...but when settled, I love to play host! In the past when in need of income I was an AirBnb host but appreciate the non monetary authentic hospitality of Couchsurfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have slept on many a couch, mostly with previously met friends or friends of friends.

A good couch surfing period of my life is when my sister and her two roommates put me up for a month or two in Manhattan as I landed a job and a place of my own. The couch had sharp arms and was a full foot shorter than me (I'm 6'4") but I put a chair on the end for my feet and was very appreciative!
